Birds&Lynx Ecotourism is a company which was born with the objective of offering you the best guided services for wildlife observation in the south of the Iberian Peninsula, mainly Andalusia. Our headquarters is located in the middle of Sierra Morena, in La Carolina (Jaén).

Ecotourism is a type of alternative tourism in which sustainability, commitment to the environment and appreciation of the territory in which it develops are priorities, both environmentally and culturally.

Together with the biodiversity conservation, ecotourism is for us a strong commitment with which we intend to value our country and share it with local people and other nationalities. In this way, we have designed a complete program of activities based on the observation of nature, which aims to offer an alternative to the traditional activities of the territory, and with which we hope to meet your expectations.

We are naturalists with specific academic training in Biology, Management and Organization of Natural Resources and Landscapes or Management of Protected Areas, among others, and we have proffesional experience in the conservation and sustainable tourism fields, having worked with such emblematic species as the Spanish Imperial Eagle or the Iberian Lynx.

We organize guided tours all year long on demand, of different duration, from a single morning or afternoon, to a full day or several days, in order to show you the wildlife and landscapes of the protected natural spaces of Andalusia.

An off-road experience

On Birds&Lynx Ecotourism We have 4x4 vehicles with 4+1 seats, to make your ecotourism experience more comfortable. In addition, if you are going to carry out the activity in a group, we put at your disposal a 4x4 van with 8+1 seats.

we have 5 high-end telescopes, as well as 8 binoculars 8x42 and 10x50, with which you can enjoy observing wildlife with good optical quality.

Our farms

Exclusive access to natural spaces

We have collaboration agreements with different private farms in the province of Jaén, in order to offer you an exclusive and different experience, avoiding crowds and pressure on the territory at the time of greatest influx of visitors, and therefore, on the fauna that in it dwells.

The use of private space by us brings economic benefit to the owners of the farms, in the same way that other uses such as livestock, hunting or beekeeping can do. In this way, we contribute directly to the conservation of the natural space and the environmental awareness of the rest of the users.

We are "pet friendly"

Or what is the same, friends of pets.

At Birds&Lynx Ecotourism we understand the importance of traveling accompanied by your pet, not being an impediment when carrying out certain activities in the natural environment.

We are a "pet friendly" company, so if you want your pet to accompany us, you just have to let us know and we will try to do everything possible so that they also enjoy a unique experience.

REMEMBER THAT , at all times, the animal must:

To be calm.
Use a leash or harness throughout the activity.
To be under your strict control and supervision.
Go provided with water, food and everything you may need.

With all these measures, we ensure that our passage through the natural spaces in which our activities take place is totally respectful of the flora, fauna and other users.

Conservation Project of the Montagu's Harrier (Circus pygargus) in the province of Jaén.
Monitoring and Covering Project for the Lesser Kestrel (Falco naumanni) in La Carolina (Jaén).
